Summit Ranch is George Hochderffers original homestead. Our dream is to fully restore the cabin and share it with those who want to visit, experience this beautiful valley and a piece of Flagstaffs pioneer history. We are now living in the old cabin while building an off-grid home across the meadow! You are welcome to join us on the journey...
The old Hochderffer homestead as it looks today in 2016. I'ts been taken pretty good care of over the years or it would not still be standing. Built out of aspen tree logs in 1897, it rests on a rock foundation, it's floor travels at a bit of an angle....we call that character.
Old fencing, embedded in the earth
Everywhere I look, this land is incredibly beautiful. Images of just how much God loves us. This old fence used to surround a garden; no telling how many years ago.

Karly and Jeremy's visit home
If home is where love abides and laughter looms, then Karly and Jeremy spent an evening together here at home. They are both planning weddings to wonderful people. Precious time dreaming and sharing. Smiles abound.
